This year is the first year we actually carved pumpkins from the local pumpkin patch with the kids. I think they turned out fine.

This year, after three years of being Buzz Lightyear, my son decided to be a Transformer - Optimus Prime. Last month we bought him a Red Power Ranger costume. My daughter will be Cinderella. Last year she was Sleeping Beauty.
I rarely dress up for Halloween at the library, but we will be giving out treats for the little ones that come to visit the library tomorrow.
In other news, we had a 5.6 earthquake in our area. Shook the kids up a little bit. They may be sleeping in our room tonight. My son told me that he didn't want his house to die. It's funny the stuff that comes out of his mouth.
